Bike Pe Sawar Gannu Bhaiya (Ganesha)

This painting depicts a painting of Ganesha, a revered deity in Hinduism, riding a motorcycle.  Ganesha known as the remover of obstacles, the good of beginnings, wisdom and good luck. His elephant head represents the soul and his body represents the physical world. The modern addition of a motorcycle presents a contemporary take on the traditional imagery. Ganesha is often worshipped before starting new ventures.
